About the Cover

Cover Figure

Legend. Long-term predictors of descending aorta aneurysmal change in 3 patients with aortic dissection. Two patients with a small initial false lumen at the upper descending thoracic aorta showed a complete resorption of the false lumen (left panels) or did not show an aneurysm for 3 years (middle panels). A third patient with a large initial false lumen developed an aorta aneurysm (right panels). A large upper thoracic aorta false lumen portends late aneurysm and adverse outcome warranting early intervention. See page 802.
