Data are presented as mean ± SEM, n values given in Table 3. *p < 0.008 (= 0.05/6) versus SHM;  p < 0.008 versus ACF. Collagen volume and MMP-13 were analyzed via variance component, whereas TIMP-1 and -4 were analyzed using a Kruskal-Wallis test. Abbreviations as in Figure 1.
