Biopsy samples (n = 4 from each stage) were taken at echocardiographically distinct stages of (c) normal left ventricle (control), (d) left ventricular hypertrophy, (e) left ventricular dilation, and (f) left ventricular failure and subjected to peroxidase-labeled ISOL assay.
