The 56th Annual Scientific Session of the American College of Cardiology once again presented a large amount of new material, and reviewed the important rapidly evolving areas within cardiovascular medicine. A symposium was held on the last day of the meeting at which the most important and interesting presentations at the sessions were summarized.
This Supplement to the Journal of the American College of Cardiology presents the Highlights of the Annual Scientific Sessions as discussed at that symposium. The authors have culled through the original research and structured sessions of the meeting to select the material that they believed would have the greatest impact upon cardiology. We are pleased to provide this as a Supplement to JACC.
