Linear regression analysis of the correlation between the percent infarction area/total ventricular area (as measured by TTC or Masson trichrome staining/histology at 24 h and 4 weeks after coronary ligation, respectively) and the percent akinetic area/total ventricular area as measured by two-dimensional echocardiography.
