Ferric chloride (FeCl3) application increased in vivo expressions of platelet P-selectin only in P+/+ mice but not in P–/– mice (C). Platelet P-selectin expressions in P–/– mice were similar to those in the negative control (fluorescein isothiocyanate [FITC] immunoglobulin G [IgG]).
