Sampling was performed at entry (within 12 h from symptom onset), at 24, 48, and 72 h after symptom onset, and at discharge (10 ± 4 days). The insert shows the pattern of 2,3-DHBA/SA in patients without (Group 2Ai) and with (Group 2Bi) HF during hospitalization.
