In all samples, the densitometric measurements of COX-2 immunoreactivity were expressed as a percentage of the average value measured in the corresponding LV wall of control rabbits. The two comparisons performed in each panel were adjusted by the Bonferroni correction. Data are means ± SEM. ASA = acetylsalicylic acid (aspirin); PC = preconditioning.
