All data are adjusted to the mean age of the group (62 years) using the slope of the univariate relationship between each variable and age. The full regression equations for systemic arterial compliance (SAC), distensibility index (DI), and augmentation index (AI) are: time to ischemia = –7.47·age + 179·SAC + 738; time to ischemia = –7.26·age + 717·DI + 711; time to ischemia = –7.90·age – 2.53·AI + 910.
