Figure 2 Associations between diastolic blood pressure reactivity to mental stress and coronary vasomotion in diseased and nonstenotic segments of patients with coronary artery disease. An inverse relationship was found between diastolic blood pressure responses and coronary diameter changes in diseased segments (r DBP = 0.30, p = 0.02), whereas no relationship was found between blood pressure responses and coronary constriction in nonstenotic arteries (r DBP = 0.02, p > 0.10). This finding was confirmed by multivariate regression analysis.
