Figure 6 Representative gel mobility shift assay of six different experiments to test the effect of simvastatin on the binding activity of human neutrophil cytosolic proteins to the 3'-UTR of eNOS mRNA. The neutrophils were stimulated with TNF-alpha (500 U/ml) for 8 h in the presence and absence of increasing doses of simvastatin. The cytosolic extracts were analyzed using the labeled UTR-UC probe.
