Figure 1 Patients with premature CAD were placed on a daily dose of irbesartan (75 mg daily if systolic blood pressure ≤135 mm Hg and 150 mg daily if systolic blood pressure ≥135 mm Hg) for a 24-week period. Blood pressure was monitored at 0, 4, 12 and 24-week intervals. The average systolic and diastolic blood pressure for the group at each interval is noted. {diamondsuit} = systolic; {blacksquare} = diastolic.
