Figure 1 Rates of in-hospital events in patients without ST segment depression (STD), in those with ST segment depression not involving the lateral leads (I, aVL, V5 and V6) and in those with ST segment depression involving two or more lateral leads. Lateral ST segment depression identified a high risk subgroup, whereas patients with ST segment depression not involving the lateral leads had low complication rates, similar to those without ST segment depression. The 95% confidence limits are represented by error bars.
