Figure 4 The effect of a neutralizing antibody against Fas ligand on the cell death–inducing activity of pericardial fluid from patients with UA. F2 cells were incubated with 10% pericardial fluid from patients with UA in the presence or absence of a neutralizing antibody against Fas ligand (1 µg/ml). Cell survival assays were performed as described in the legend for Figure 1. In each experiment, the viability of the well incubated with 10% fetal bovine serum was set to 100%. All of the experiments were performed in triplicate for each patient sample and repeated at least three times. Results are the mean ± SD of each group.
