A, Brachial artery blood flow (expressed as percent change from baseline) at: peak flow immediately after wrist cuff deflated, 1 min after cuff deflated and 3 min after 400 µg sublingual GTN. There were no significant differences between groups. B, Flow-mediated dilation expressed as absolute change (mm) from baseline diameter. There is a significant improvement within the omega-3 fatty acids group posttreatment (*p < 0.05) and when compared with placebo posttreatment (**p < 0.05). C, Glyceryl trinitrate-mediated dilation expressed as absolute change (mm) from baseline diameter. There were no significant differences between groups. Data are presented as mean ± SEM.
