Figure 1 Standard deviation of the 5-min mean R-R interval (SDANN) and corresponding heart rate (HR) analyzed from 15 min of supine rest, from 15 min free standing in laboratory, from 15 min steady-state treadmill walking at 4.5 km/h, and finally from incremental treadmill walking (from 4.5 km/h to 6.5 km/h) in four healthy subjects. Data is re-analyzed from the study of Tulppo et al. (7).
