Figure 1 Kaplan-Meier curves and log-rank test revealed that a higher peak monocyte count was associated with lower cardiac event-free survival during the follow-up period after acute myocardial infarction. Cardiac events were defined as readmission for heart failure, recurrent myocardial infarction and cardiac deaths, including sudden deaths. p < 0.0001.
