Figure 1 (A) A retention disc of the device sitting on the rim of the ductal ampulla. The ductus is completely occluded. This device is not likely to embolize. (B) A completely occluded ductus but the device size is too small. The retention device slanted forward into the body of the ductus, giving rise to the bump (arrow). This device embolized to the right pulmonary artery at 24 h after implant assessment.
