Ages 12 to 18 years, n = 472. The diagonal line indicates a test with an area under the receiver operating characteristics curve of 0.5. In addition to lipid measures, the models included those risk factors significantly associated with intima-media thickness in multivariate model (blood pressure, smoking). The values for continuous variables were age- and gender-specific Z scores.
