Kaplan-Meier event-free survival for patients with normal versus abnormal left ventricular function (A) and for patients treated with versus without prednisone (B). Normal ejection fraction (EF) was defined as EF 50% by echocardiography (or described as normal in 7 patients). For patients with long follow-up, follow-up time is censored at 60 months.
