Note that the primary focus of this observation, cardiac death or nonfatal myocardial infarction (MI), was significantly greater in drug-eluting stent (red) versus bare-metal stent (blue) groups, which contrasts with a trend toward a lower restenosis-related target vessel revascularization (TVR) rate after drug-eluting stents.
