(A) Noninfarcted areas showed minimal staining for pPDGFR-ß. (B) After 7 days of reperfusion, perivascular and mononuclear-like cells (arrowheads) with intense immunoreactivity to pPDGFR-ß were found in the infarcted myocardium.
