Figure 1 Fully adjusted risk ratios are plotted for the end points of hospitalization for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), myocardial infarction (MI), death, and MI or death. Treatments analyzed were angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors, angiotensin receptor blockers (ARBs), statins (hydroxymethylglutaryl CoA reductase inhibitors [HMG-CoA]), and the combination of statins with ACE inhibitors or ARBs (combination) in the population of COPD patients with prior revascularization (high risk).
