(A) Specific inhibitory peptides against NAD(P)H-oxidase (gp91ds-tat, 100 µmol/l) abrogated the increase in O2·– release in human umbilical vein endothelial cell (HUVEC) monolayers that was caused by sodium stibogluconate (SS).
