Figure 4 Transcardiac gradient in coronary blood pH at baseline; immediately after the first, second, and third balloon inflations (Infl-1, Infl-2, and Infl-3); and immediately before the second and third inflations (Pre-Infl-2 and Pre-Infl-3) in control and adenosine-treated patients. Because arterial pH did not change significantly, the differences in the gradient indicate changes in great cardiac vein pH. Brackets indicate the pairwise comparisons that were performed.
