The 18F-fluorodeoxyglucose-positron emission tomography images (A through G, base to apex) reveal a defect in the posterolateral wall extending to the inferior wall at the midventricular level. Contrast-enhanced magnetic resonance imaging (1 through 8, base to apex) shows transmural enhancement of a similar size in the same location.
