Figure 2 Incidence of recurrent unstable angina pectoris (UAP) within one year after directional coronary atherectomy after separation of the extent of macrophages and T lymphocytes in tertiles, defined by the distribution of the levels of recurrent UAP. Distribution of tertiles is as follows: for macrophages, higher (31%); middle (21% to 31%) and lower (21%); for T lymphocytes, higher (33 cells/mm²), middle (18 to 33 cells/mm²) and lower (18 cells/mm²). *p < 0.0001 for trend (Cochrane Armatege test).
