Figure 1 Bar plot of rest myocardial blood flow (MBF) (Qrst; mean + SD) as a function of criteria employed to determine myocardial viability. It is apparent that values are comparable (and do not differ significantly across methods) regardless of criteria used. Normal (reference) zone (NZ) Qrst by definition is significantly greater (p < 0.005) than that of either viable (VBL) or nonviable (NVBL) low flow regions, which do not differ.
