Figure 6 SOD activity in aortic homogenates and plasma from rats fed different diets. Feeding of rats with ${alpha}$ - and ${gamma}$ -tocopherol increased SOD activity in the supernatants of aortic homogenates and in the plasma. Data (mean ± SD) shown are from 11 rats in the control group, 11 rats in the ${alpha}$ -tocopherol group and 11 rats in the ${gamma}$ -tocopherol group.
