Figure 1 Plasma levels of ${alpha}$ - and ${gamma}$ -tocopherol in rats fed different diets. Plasma ${alpha}$ -tocopherol levels increased markedly in ${alpha}$ -tocopherol-fed rats, and ${gamma}$ -tocopherol levels decreased as compared with the control rats. On the other hand, plasma ${gamma}$ -tocopherol levels were markedly elevated in ${gamma}$ -tocopherol-fed rats, and ${alpha}$ -tocopherol levels were not different as compared with control rats. ${alpha}$ -T = ${alpha}$ -tocopherol; ${gamma}$ -T = ${gamma}$ -tocopherol. Data are mean ± SD (n = 11 rats in each group).
