Figure 4 Top panel: Dose-dependent decreases in forearm blood flow are shown in response to noradrenaline in controls and in patients with hypercholesterolemia and hypertriglyceridemia. Analysis was by two-way repeated measures (RM) ANOVA. Bottom panel: The % decrease is shown in basal forearm blood flow following infusion with N^G-monomethyl-L-arginine (L-NMMA) 4 µmol/min in controls, hypercholesterolemics and hypertriglyceridemics. Analysis was by one-way ANOVA. Results are expressed as mean ± standard error of the mean.
