(B) Color Doppler imaging in early systole reveals a thin jet of mitral regurgitation (large arrows) tracking around the lateral aspect of the annuloplasty ring. Regurgitant blood flow acceleration through this narrow zone of ring dehiscence accounted for the hemolysis.
